Junior Conservationist Experience (Age 5+)

Do you have a budding young conservationist with a passion for birds of prey – then this is the PERFECT experience for them! They will handle and fly a variety of birds* each with their own conservation issue/story. They’ll also hear about Gauntlet Conservation Trust’s work to help endangered species. Species you could meet during the activity: Vulture, Kestrel, Barn Owl, Malaysian Wood Owl.

*Please note, for the welfare of our birds the species you meet on the day may vary.

Duration: 1 hour, private session.
Time of year: 7 days a week, all year.
Includes: A cuddly Vulture and a Gauntlet Conservation Trust supporter wristband. Cost also includes admission for one adult spectator.
Extras: Unlimited spectators pay general admission either online or on the day of the visit. Click here to purchase general admission tickets.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Children (aged 5 to 16) taking part in this activity must be accompanied by an adult spectator for the duration of the experience. Adult admission is £8.50 and can be purchased online or on the day of your visit.
  • Orders/Vouchers are non-refundable.
  • Orders/Vouchers can be transferred to another person.
  • Orders/Vouchers may be exchanged for a different experience. If the experience you are exchanging it for is a higher cost you will be required to pay the difference. If the experience is a lower cost no refunds will be given.
