VIP A Day in the life of a Bird Handler at Gauntlet (16+) Voucher

This is the perfect experience for anyone wanting to take their wildlife experience to the next level.

• You will spend the day with head falconer Jake or falconer Sam, starting with a tour around the park
• The second part of the morning will be spend feeding, handling and weighing the birds and exploring areas of the park off limits to the general public.
• You will assist in the Vulture Talk at 12pm and then the flying show at 12.30pm
• Lunch is at 1pm.
• From 1.30pm to 2.45pm you will be feeding, handling and flying the birds.
• Between 2.45 and 3.30pm you will assist in the preparation of our finale flying show ‘Taking Flight’.
• The day will finish after the 3pm flying show.

Duration: 6 hours, private session for 1 or 2 people – 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Includes: Lunch is included.*
Cost: £300 per person, maximum of 2 people together
Time of year: These experiences run from April to September

• BOOKING YOUR DATE: Once you have purchased or received your Birds of Prey Experience voucher you will need to book a date for your experience. Click How to book a date for your Birds of Prey Experience. Make sure you book in advance as during our busy periods (weekends and school holidays) waiting times can increase. At present our waiting time for booking a date for your experience is between 4 to 8 months. Please do not turn up for your experience without booking confirmation from the park.
