Testimonial
“We had an amazing party at Gauntlet for my daughter's 7th birthday. She and her friends had a great time meeting all the birds and animals, they all overcame any fear they had handling the birds and enjoyed every minute of the two hour party. What a great place to have a birthday party! The staff were all very friendly and informative and they organised everything, all I had to bring was the cake. Thank you for everything and we will be back again soon.”

Testimonials from schools
"I just had to write to say a big thank you for a wonderful class visit on Wednesday. Both children and adults had a fantastic time. We felt very relaxed in the capable hands of your staff. Despite the cold, we were all smiling and thank you for adjusting the activities to account for the weather! We felt the schedule was well balanced with time in the barn and time to roam independently. Thanks once again, I'm keeping my fingers crossed we can return in the future!"

Testimonials from schools
"Just wanted to say a very big 'Thank You' to you and the team at Gauntlet for the amazing Birds of Prey Demonstration you delivered at our school on Thursday. I don't think I have ever seen the children sat so still or quietly!! It was tailored perfectly to the age of the children and they came away from the school hall full of buzz and excitement. I had such positive feedback from all the staff members who sat in to watch the demonstration and would heartily recommend you to any other schools looking for a similar experience."

Gauntlet Birds of Prey visits to your youth group
We have been working with youth groups since we opened our park back in 1996.
Our interactive and hands-on demonstrations and presentations offer youth groups an interesting, fun and educational evening.
We visit all types of activity groups from Scouting and Guiding, community youth groups and after school clubs, to name but a few. We travel to your location with a variety of Gauntlet’s residents including: owls, hawks, a vulture and a cheeky ferret for an hour long session. During the hour your group will be able to:
- See the birds up close as well as watch them fly,
- They can stroke the ferret
- We’ll always ask for a few brave volunteers to slip on the gauntlet glove and fly the birds themselves
All we require is an indoor area – a Scout/Guides hut, school hall or church hall for example and some willing volunteers!
Alternatively your group can visit the park for a change to your usual group meeting! For further information or to book your visit please click here to contact us.
